.: Review - Colour Changing Hat :.

So this would be my first post onto this blog that basically initiates it. (this feels so exciting for some weird reason... anyways for my first post I have decided to do a review first, so let us begin!

Basically I first saw this hat at a comic book store at the downtown location. It was July-ish during the gay pride parade at the time. I know surprise surprise I went! :P I, being the weird one out of any of my friends, of course wanted the hat really badly. But I also didn't want to spend $30 on a hat.

Fast forward 5 months and I finally bought it! Partially because I bought it for myself as a reward for switching jobs. I make up weird rewards for myself... go ahead judge me.  Even though this hat was more on the pricey side, (I never bought a hat this expensive before...) I thought it was worth it. Everywhere I go, I would get compliments from people asking me where I got the hat from. It's pretty cool to have a hat that changes colour.

This hat is similar to those hippie-esque colour changing hologram cards back then in the 90's. Some of the movie lovers here would probably be able to tell that this hat was seen in the movie "Back to the Future". This hat is part of the "Back to the Future" merchandise line that they had. If I remember correctly the hat was called "The Marty Mcfly Hat". Truth be told, I never actually watched any of the "Back to the Future" films. I guess they just never really appealed to me back when I was a 90's kid... (I was more into the "Jurassic Park" and "Batman" stuff so I watched those movies instead.)

Anyways back to the hat, I personally love this hat (some people say it is a bit much) but I usually brush it off. and tell them their make up is a bit much. I feel like I would be able to get a lot of wears out of this hat (hopefully a couple of years at least?) The only thing I didn't like about this hat was that because it is suppose to have a "colour changing" effect, it sometimes mixes the colours together which (I think we all know) makes a brown colour similar to poo. The brown colour isn't that bad since the colour changes quickly when you move so people won't be able to see the brown for long. Overall, I'm actually really happy with this purchase and I'm going to go ahead and give it an 8/10 rating (only deductions are being on the more pricey side and its minor brown colour from time to time.)
